High View
High View is a one-bedroom barn conversion on our farm in St Breward. It's part of a little courtyard with two other cottages and our own house. The buildings are old granite, a couple of hundred years old.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
The cottage is at the end of a private track, so it's quiet. You look out over fields. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. Dogs are welcome, we take up to three.
You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor here. You can walk straight out onto the moor from the gate. The village shop and the pub are about a quarter of a mile away, you can walk to both. The pub does food.
The north coast beaches are about a twenty to forty minute drive. Trebarwith Strand is often the quickest. Polzeath, Daymer Bay, and Rock are all within half an hour or so. Padstow and Port Isaac are about twenty minutes away.
For a day out, the Eden Project is roughly twenty-five minutes. Tintagel Castle and Boscastle are close. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Trust's Lanhydrock are both about forty minutes.
What's here: a woodburning stove, WiFi, TV, washing machine, towels and bedding are provided. There's parking right outside and we have an electric vehicle charger. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
