Jarvies Cottage

Jarvies Cottage is in Boscastle, right at the top of the hill before you go down into the village. It's a stone semi-detached place, recently done up. The work was finished in 2023.

It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury. There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well.

The garden is enclosed. There's a conservatory you can eat in, which lets in a lot of light.

You're about two hundred yards from the village shop. The pub and a restaurant are half a mile down the hill. Boscastle itself is a proper old fishing village with a harbour. Good for walks. The coastal path is right there.

If you want a sandy beach, Trebarwith Strand is about four miles south. It's a good one. Tintagel Castle is very close, maybe ten minutes by car. The National Trust run it now, so you can look up opening times: National Trust Tintagel.

Port Isaac is about twenty minutes down the coast. Padstow is a bit further, maybe half an hour. You've got Bodmin Moor inland, and the Eden Project is about a forty minute drive.

In terms of what's here, it's all the standard stuff: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
