Penfound Country Cottage
Penfound Cottage is here in Poundstock. It's a single-storey barn conversion on our working farm. You'll see sheep and cattle in the fields from the windows. The garden is big and looks over an orchard where our two ponies, Annie and Sugar, live. They're friendly and will come to the fence.
It sleeps two people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on the ground floor, which is good for accessibility. There's one small step in the porch. You have your own parking area.
It's quiet here. We live next door and we're about if you need anything, but you have your own space.
The coast is about three and a half miles away. The A39 Atlantic Highway is a couple of minutes' drive, which makes getting around easy. Bude is to the north, Port Isaac to the south. The local shop and a restaurant are a mile away. The nearest pub is two miles.
Bude has a sea pool, a golf course, and shops. Boscastle is about a 20 minute drive north. Clovelly, with its famous cobbled street, is about 35 minutes away. Tintagel is a similar distance.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The garden is yours to use. No pets, sorry.
