Aurora Barn is a small converted threshing barn on our farm in Grimscott. It's a thatched building, which looks nice, but does mean the ceilings are low in the bedrooms. It's south-facing, so it gets the sun in the garden during the day.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. There's underfloor heating downstairs, which is very good. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. You can bring two dogs, but we ask that they stay off the furniture.
The living area is all one room, kitchen and sitting area together. The windows look out onto your private courtyard. It's quiet here. The nearest pub is in Kilkhampton, about three miles away. They do good food.
You're about five miles from Bude. That's where the main beaches and shops are. It's got all the things a seaside town has. The coast path is accessible a short drive away. For a wider area, you're not far from the Devon or Somerset borders if you want a longer drive out.
On the facilities: the listing covers it, but yes, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a highchair and a cot in the barn if you need them.
