Skyber Barnacott

Skyber Barnacott is in Kilkhampton, just north of Bude. It's a barn conversion, all on one level. You've got your own garden and driveway.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One's an en-suite, the other is off the hallway too. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, clean and well looked after. There are beams and a wood burning stove.

The garden is a decent size. You can park right outside.

Bude is about ten minutes drive. It's got everything: shops, cafes, pubs, a sea pool, and the canal. The closest beaches are Northcott Mouth and then Sandymouth a bit further up. Both are good. Sandymouth has a National Trust car park. At low tide they've got miles of sand.

In the village, Kilkhampton, there are two pubs that do food. The church is very old. There's the site of a Norman castle too, though it's just a mound now.

If you drive north into Devon, Clovelly is about half an hour away. It's a steep, pedestrian-only village. You have to pay to get in. Further along the coast, Hartland Point is wild and good for walking.

Facilities wise: there's a wood burner, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
