This is Hillside. It's a lodge on Penstowe Park, which is a holiday park near Kilkhampton. The site is about three and a half miles from Sandymouth Beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. One bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and tidy, but it's not high-end. It's comfortable.
There's no Wi-Fi in the lodge itself. You can get a signal at some of the local pubs if you need it. The electricity runs on a coin meter. We'll leave a couple of pounds in it for you when you arrive, and we ask that you leave the same when you go.
If you're arriving after dark, bring a torch. The path up to the lodge isn't very well lit.
You're welcome to bring up to two dogs.
Being on the park, you've got access to things like the indoor pool and the bar. There's on-site parking. Bude is just down the road, about ten minutes by car. It's got surf beaches, a canal, and places to eat.
For days out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast around here, like Sandymouth. Tintagel Castle and the Eden Project are both within a half hour drive. If you head across the border into Devon, North Devon National Landscape has some good walking routes.
Facilities in the lodge: TV, shower, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking. The local area has a golf course, fishing, horse riding, and a pub.
