This is Finlog. It's a log cabin just outside Bradworthy in North Devon. It's detached, so you're on your own. The garden is enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not a modern house, it's a wooden cabin. So it's warm and solid-feeling, but you can hear the weather on the roof sometimes, which I like.
The main room is all open plan. Kitchen, table, sofas, and a woodburner. There's a TV and WiFi. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. One bedroom has a double bed. The other is a twin room, and it has its own TV and a door straight out to the veranda.
Outside, there's a veranda with furniture and a barbecue. The garden has a lawn, a swing-seat, and a couple of benches. You get a lot of birds.
Bradworthy village is about a mile away. It's got a shop, a post office, and a pub that does food. The coast is about ten miles. The beaches at Bude are good for surfing. Sandymouth Bay is sandy. Further up the coast, the Hartland coast is more rugged, good for dramatic walks.
Clovelly is under half an hour's drive. It's that famous village with the steep, cobbled street. It's owned by the Clovelly Estate. For wider area information, the North Devon National Landscape site is useful.
Practical stuff: All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right next to the cabin. The entrance is step-free.
