Finlog

This is Finlog. It's a log cabin in Bradworthy, North Devon. It's on its own, surrounded by a lot of trees. The setting is quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The main living area is all one room with a kitchen, dining table, and sofas. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's also a TV and wifi.

Outside, there's a veranda with furniture and a barbecue, and a lawned garden with a swing seat. One of the bedrooms has a door straight out onto the veranda.

The village of Bradworthy is about a mile away. It's got a shop, a post office, and a pub that does food. The coast is about ten miles. Bude has several beaches, some are good for surfing. Sandymouth Bay is a good sandy beach. The Hartland Heritage Coast is rugged, more for dramatic walks than swimming.

Clovelly, the fishing village with the steep cobbled street, is under half an hour's drive. For wider planning, the National Trust Devon page is useful, as is the North Devon National Landscape site.

Facilities: it's all on one level so the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. The shower is a walk-in, double size.
