Lamastar

Lamastar is on Hartland Forest Holiday Park. It's a lodge, not a cottage. Fully detached. The park is quiet, lots of space between the lodges and over a hundred acres of woodland. There’s a fishing lake on the site if you have a rod license.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. One family bathroom and there's a separate loo as well. It’s a 3 Star lodge, so it’s comfortable and clean. You’ve got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.

The living area has patio doors out to a deck. There’s a TV and DVD player. We keep a dog crate there, and can provide a second one if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.

Outside, there's a decking area with furniture. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Parking is right outside.

The nearest place is Woolfardisworthy, about three miles away. It’s got a good pub and a fish and chip shop. Hartland village is about six miles. It has a few shops and a post office.

You’re well placed for the coast. It's about a ten minute drive to Hartland Quay or Speke's Mill Mouth. The South West Coast Path is spectacular along there, but it's steep in parts. For the big surfing beaches like Woolacombe or Westward Ho!, you're looking at a 30 to 40 minute drive.

Local places to visit include Clovelly, which is about seven miles. It's a private village, so there's an entrance fee. The Milky Way Adventure Park is near Bideford, about a 25 minute drive. Exmoor National Park is about 45 minutes to an hour's drive.
