Foxgloves Bungalow
Foxgloves Bungalow is in Darracott, near Welcombe. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. You can bring one dog.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all open plan.
You're about a mile from Welcombe Mouth beach. It's a good walk down through the valley to get there, past a waterfall and onto the coast path. The beach is dog friendly. The local pub is a few minutes walk away. It's a thatched place from the 13th century, does food, and has gardens.
In the car, you're well placed for both North Devon and North Cornwall. Hartland Quay is about seven miles away. Bude is 12 miles. The National Trust at Hartland has some spectacular coastline.
For a big beach day, Saunton, Woolacombe or Westward Ho! are all within about 45 minutes. Exmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive if you fancy a change from the coast.
At the bungalow you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio with furniture in a shared garden, and one parking space. WiFi and a TV are there too.
