This is Lodge 18, Hartland Forest. It's in Northmoor, Devon. Out in the sticks, really. Quiet.
It's a detached lodge, Scandinavian style. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean.
The deck wraps around two sides. You can sit out there with a coffee in the morning. It's peaceful, just trees and fields.
You're right on the edge of the forest for walks. The coast path isn't far either. Westward Ho! and Bude, the surfing beaches, are about a 30 minute drive. Good for a day out.
For something different, The Eden Project is roughly 45 minutes away. There are a few National Trust places around too, like Arlington Court.
Inside it's open plan. There's a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking right outside.
The nearest pub is two and a half miles. The shop is in Hartland, about six miles. You'll want to bring a big shop with you.
