The Linhay is a stone barn we converted. It's on the farm here at Hardisworthy, so you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields. It's detached and sits back in a bit of woodland, so it's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. The main room is open plan.
The place is all on one level, so no stairs to worry about. There's underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Towels and bedding are included.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio. You can park right next to it.
We're a couple of miles from Hartland village. The shop is about five miles away, so you'll need to drive for groceries. The coast is close. It's a ten minute drive to the Hartland Heritage Coast. The cliffs and walks there are proper dramatic.
Clovelly is about fifteen minutes north. It's a famous village with steep, cobbled streets down to the harbour. It gets busy in summer. For a longer day out, Bude is roughly half an hour away for surfing or the canal.
