Willow Cottage
Willow Cottage is in West Town, Devon. It's one of a few holiday barns around a courtyard. It's quiet and out of the way.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
You've got a small garden area with the cottage. You can also use the big shared grounds, about 16 acres. It's got a lot of wildlife there, Devon Wildlife Trust have marked it.
There's a field opposite, partly owned by us and a neighbour. It's a nice spot to sit and look at the view. Good for watching the sunset.
A shop and a pub are about a mile and a half away in Woolfardisworthy. The pub does food and there's a fish and chip shop next to it.
For the coast, Bucks Mills beach is the closest, about four and a half miles. It's a small shingle beach in a very quiet spot. Clovelly is famous, that's about three and a half miles. You have to pay to enter but it's unique, with its cobbled street and donkeys.
Other places within about half an hour: Westward Ho! for the big sandy beach, Bideford for shops and boat trips to Lundy Island, and the Tarka Trail if you want to cycle. National Trust Clovelly, North Devon National Landscape, and Devon Wildlife Trust have more local information.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The facilities are what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
