The Retreat is on the Northmoor golf course. It’s a detached, Scandinavian-style wooden lodge. It’s very quiet here.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The main living area is all open plan.
All the facilities are on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There’s parking right outside.
You’re about six miles from a decent shop. The nearest pub is two and a half miles away.
For beaches, Westward Ho! and Bude are both about a twenty-minute drive. They’re good for surfing. The Tarka Trail is nearby if you want to cycle or walk. It’s a flat path on an old railway line.
There’s a lot of National Trust property round here. Hartland Abbey is worth a trip. Clovelly village is unusual, it’s all steep and cobbled. RHS Garden Rosemoor is about half an hour away.
If you’ve got children, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are both within a thirty minute drive.
No pets, I’m afraid.
