The Brown House is in Northmoor, Devon. It's a detached house, overlooking Clifford Water fishing lakes. You're in the middle of Hartland Forest, so it's quiet. Hundreds of acres of Forestry Commission land start right there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean.
You get a fishing pass for the lakes next door. They've got carp, roach, tench. There's a patio and garden. You've got parking right there too.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The village of Woolsery is about two and a half miles away. There's a pub and restaurant there, and a chip shop. That's your nearest shop.
For the coast, Sandymouth beach is the closest. It's a National Trust beach in Cornwall, about a fifteen minute drive. Good for surfing or walking on the cliffs. Slightly further gets you to Bude, which has surf schools and shops.
On the Devon side, you can get to the South West Coast Path. Hartland Lighthouse and Clovelly are within half an hour's drive.
If you want to hire bikes for the Tarka Trail, Bideford is where you'd go. For family days out, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are nearby.
