Cranford House is in the village of Cranford, about ten miles from Bideford. It's a detached house that sleeps eleven people. There are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating.
The main thing about it is the space. There's a large living, dining, and sun room all in one. It's a good place for everyone to be together. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is big, which helps when cooking for a crowd. There's also a separate games room with a pool table.
Outside, there's a patio garden. You also get shared use of a two-acre field just across the lane. It's handy for letting dogs run or for a picnic. Pets are welcome, up to three dogs.
The house is in a quiet spot. The beach at Bucks Mills is about a ten minute drive. It's a sand and shingle beach, dog friendly. From there, you can join the South West Coast Path. One way leads to Clovelly, the other towards Westward Ho!
For days out, Bideford is the nearest proper town. You can get boat trips to Lundy Island from there, or hire bikes for the Tarka Trail. The villages of Instow and Appledore are nice for a stroll. For gardens, RHS Rosemoor is about a half hour drive.
Facilities: parking on site, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The property can be booked alongside the Old Coach House next door if you need space for more people.
