Knotty Corner Cottage
Knotty Corner Cottage is in Ford, a little place near Bideford. It's a detached thatched cottage. The thatch is real, so you'll hear a bit of rustling if it's windy. No roads go past it, it's quiet.
It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One is en-suite. There's a shower seat and grab rails in one of them. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The garden is a good size, fenced in. It looks over some fields. We keep ducks and geese, and sometimes they wander in from next door. They're friendly but they might leave a mess.
Beside the cottage, there's a games room. It has table tennis and a projector screen for watching films.
It's about a mile and a half to the nearest pub and shop. Bideford is a mile away. It's a proper town with shops and a market. You can get boat trips from there to Lundy Island. The beach at Westward Ho! is about four miles. That's the big sandy one good for surfing.
There are some good walks along the coast nearby. Bucks Mills and Clovelly are worth a visit. For gardens, RHS Rosemoor isn't far. If you have children, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are within 30 minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
