Knotty Corner Cottage
Knotty Corner Cottage is in Ford. It’s a thatched cottage, detached. It's on a quiet lane that doesn't go anywhere. The garden is big and private. We've got some ducks and geese in a pen next door, and they sometimes wander in under the gate.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath, the other two are shower rooms. One of the shower rooms is en-suite to the main bedroom. We did it all up a few years back. It has a 4 Star rating.
There's a separate games room next to the cottage with a table tennis table and a projector screen you can hook a laptop up to for films.
You're about a mile and a half from a shop and a pub. Bideford is a mile away for supermarkets and things. The beach at Westward Ho! is four miles. It's a long sandy beach, good for walking and surfing.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path is close. National Trust North Devon Coast has good information. Bucks Mills and Clovelly are nice coastal spots to visit. For gardens, RHS Rosemoor is about twenty minutes' drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
