Shorewaters
Shorewaters is a cottage in Appledore, right on the Torridge Estuary. It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one with bunk beds, and two bathrooms.
The main thing about it is the view. You've got a private balcony and a roof terrace both looking right out over the water towards Instow. You can watch the boats come and go. At high tide, the water comes right up, and you can crab off the balcony if you want to.
Inside, it's been done up recently. It's open plan downstairs, with the kitchen and living area together. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs inside are a bit steep though, just so you know.
You're on a quiet street, but it's only a few minutes' walk to the quay at Appledore. The village has pubs, cafes, and some little shops. There's a ferry from the quay that goes across to Instow, which has a sandy beach. The beach at Westward Ho! is about two miles away, good for surfing. Other beaches like Croyde and Woolacombe are within a half hour drive.
For things to do, the Tarka Trail is close by for cycling or walking. The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks are about a twenty minute drive if you've got children. Bideford is two miles away for bigger shops.
In terms of what's here, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
