This is Apartment 22, Horizon View, in Westward Ho!. It's a first-floor flat in that curved building you can see right on the seafront. The building is a bit of a landmark, so you can't miss it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both ensuite, so no queueing for the bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-finished and comfortable. We've kept it straightforward inside, comfortable furniture, decent beds. The main thing is the view.
You get a wraparound balcony. The living room is all glass on that side, so you see the sea from the sofa. It looks straight out over the beach, Golden Bay. You can hear the waves.
The flat has an underground parking space, which is useful. There's WiFi, a dishwasher, that sort of thing.
Westward Ho! itself is right there. The beach is pebbly but very wide, good for walking. The town has the usual seaside things: shops, cafes, fish and chips. The South West Coast Path runs through it, so you can walk for miles in either direction.
For a bigger town, Bideford is about ten minutes' drive. Barnstaple is maybe twenty minutes. If you want to explore further, National Trust places like Arlington Court are within half an hour. The surf at Saunton and Croyde is also about twenty to thirty minutes by car.
No pets, I'm afraid.
