Heale Cottage is on the edge of Littleham village. It's a semi-detached cottage. It's got a three star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but it's not luxury. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The stairs inside are worth mentioning. They're the original cottage stairs. They're a bit steep and narrow. There's a stairgate at the top for little ones.
You've got two garden areas, one at the front and one at the side. There's a patio with furniture and a barbecue. There's also a table tennis table in the garden shed if you fancy a game.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for colder evenings. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the cottage.
Location wise, you're a couple of miles from Bideford. It's an old port town with a quay. The big beach at Westward Ho! is about four miles away. There's a shop in Bideford, and a pub and restaurant in Littleham village itself, which is about a fifteen minute walk.
For getting out, the Tarka Trail is very close. You can join it at Landcross Bridge, about half a mile away. It's good for walking or cycling. Golf, fishing, and horse riding are all within five miles or so.
