Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is one of seven cottages in this old mill by the river. It's two storeys. It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. Upstairs is a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. You look out over the River Torridge and the fields from here.

On site, there's a shared indoor pool that's kept warm. You can book it for just your group. There's a games room with a pool table and table football. Outside, there's a fenced play area for kids by the river, with swings and a slide. There's also a garden on the other side of the mill. Peacocks wander around the grounds.

Great Torrington is about a mile away for shops and a pub. The property is right on Torrington Common, which has miles of footpaths for walking.

You're about half an hour’s drive from a lot of the North Devon coast. Westward Ho! beach is about 20 minutes. The Big Sheep farm park is maybe 15 minutes away. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is literally next door. For a day out, you can drive to the historic fishing village of Clovelly or get a boat to Lundy Island from Bideford.

In terms of things here: parking, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
