Old Nog Cottage
Old Nog Cottage is one of four barn buildings in a little row. It's part of a small group of holiday lets on a six acre site. You get to use all the grounds.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
The site has some animals like sheep and ponies, a kids' play area, and a big field for games. There's also an indoor heated swimming pool you can book time in.
The cottage itself has a patio garden. Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
You can bring one dog.
The location is quiet countryside, but not remote. There's a pub and restaurant about two miles away. The nearest proper shops are in Great Torrington, three miles from here.
For getting out, the Tarka Trail for walking and cycling is a quarter of a mile up the lane. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is less than two miles away and is good for a visit.
The north Devon coast is about a ten mile drive. That's where you'll find the big surfing beaches like Westward Ho! and Woolacombe. For a calmer beach, Instow is good for sailing and has sand.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust has a lot of the coast there, and the Exmoor National Park authority site is useful for walks further inland.
