Old Nog Cottage
Old Nog Cottage is one of four barn conversions at Stowford Lodge. They're terraced around a courtyard. You sleep four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage looks out over our own six acres of land. There's an orchard, a play area with swings and a climbing frame, and we keep some animals. You'll see Dartmoor ponies, sheep, and hens. There's a big field for kicking a ball about or flying a kite. We've also got a heated indoor swimming pool, which is shared with the other cottages here.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
Location wise, it's quiet. The nearest pub is about two miles away. Great Torrington is three miles for shops and things. The coast is about ten miles. Westward Ho! and Instow are that way. Good for surfing or just a walk on the beach.
If you like walking or cycling, the Tarka Trail passes close by. The RHS Garden at Rosemoor is less than two miles away. Exmoor and Dartmoor are both in easy driving distance, maybe 30 to 40 minutes.
