Torqvol Cottage
Torqvol Cottage is one of five places here at Berry Cross. It's a converted barn, terraced with three others in a courtyard. We've got six acres of land you can use.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. The bedrooms are both doubles. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an EV charger if you need it.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a patio and garden space for the cottage. We provide bedding and towels.
On the land, there's a children's play area with swings. We've also got some animals, like Dartmoor ponies and sheep. There's a level field for games. The indoor heated swimming pool is shared between the cottages.
Location wise, it's quite rural. The nearest shop, pub and restaurants are in Great Torrington, about three miles away. There's a good pub about two miles from here.
The coast is about ten miles. Instow has a sandy beach and sailing. Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands are good for surfing. The Tarka Trail, for walking and cycling, passes a quarter of a mile away. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is less than two miles.
For wider planning, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here. The Exmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive.
