This is Beech Lodge. It's a bungalow, one of three places here on our farm. The gardens are separate and enclosed, so it's private. You get a nice view across our fields.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Being a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about.
The place is all on one level. There's a washing machine, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
We're about five miles from the north Devon coast. For a big sandy beach and surfing, Westward Ho! is the closest. Appledore is a nice fishing village. The historic port is Bideford, where you can get boat trips over to Lundy Island.
The Tarka Trail is great if you want to walk or cycle. It's an old railway line, so it's flat. Golf and horse riding are available within five miles.
Within about half an hour you can get to Clovelly, with its cobbled street, or to RHS Rosemoor gardens. Bude, with more good surfing beaches, is also about a 30 minute drive.
