The Stables
The Stables is in Tythecott, Devon. It's a converted barn, semi-detached. Next to our house but you've got your own space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a ramp at the entrance and grab rails in the bathroom, so it's suitable if you have limited mobility.
You get a private, enclosed garden at the back. It's a good spot. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
The local pub is about two miles away. They do food. The nearest shop is in Great Torrington, about five miles. Torrington has shops, a few pubs, and a market. It's about a ten-minute drive.
For the coast, Westward Ho! is ten miles. It's a long sandy beach. Bucks Mills is closer, about eight miles, but it's a steep path down to a smaller pebble beach. The Tarka Trail for cycling is easily accessible from Bideford or Barnstaple.
If you like gardens, RHS Rosemoor is near Torrington. For a day out, Lundy Island boat trips leave from Bideford or Ilfracombe. The weather decides that, so check ahead.
