Squirrels Nest
Squirrels Nest is a Georgian cottage in Littleham. It's semi-detached. Quiet part of the village. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Has a 4 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
The stairs are normal. On the ground floor there's a living room, a second snug room with a TV, and a separate dining room. The kitchen has an island. There's a fake range cooker in there, it's just for looks so don't try and use it. Useful boot room and loo down here too.
Upstairs, one king size bedroom has an en-suite shower. There's a twin, a double, and another twin. The double and the second twin look out over the garden and fields. Family bathroom is up here as well.
Outside is a lawn and a raised deck. You get a view over the countryside from there. There's a BBQ and a firepit. Parking for two cars on the drive.
The Crealock Arms pub is in the village. Bideford is three miles away for shops. Westward Ho! beach is four miles. Instow is about the same. The South West Coast Path is close by. The Tarka Trail is good for cycling, it's on an old railway line.
You can get boat trips to Lundy Island from Bideford. For days out, The Big Sheep farm park is nearby. The Ultimate Adventure Centre does climbing and coasteering. Further along the coast, Saunton, Woolacombe and Croyde are good beaches. Exmoor National Park is about a 30 minute drive.
