Squirrels Nest is in Littleham village. It's a Georgian cottage, semi-detached. It's quiet here.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are normal.
There's a living room with an open fire. A separate snug with a smart TV. The dining room is apart from the kitchen which has an island. The kitchen range cooker is just for show, it doesn't work. The owner liked the look of it. There's a boot room and toilet downstairs too.
Outside is a lawned garden with a raised deck. You can see fields from there. There's a barbecue and a firepit. You can fit two cars on the drive.
The local pub, The Crealock Arms, is a short walk away. Bideford is three miles for shops. Westward Ho! beach is four miles. Instow beach is about the same.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is close. The Tarka Trail is on a disused railway line, good for cycling or a flat walk. It goes through Instow and up to Barnstaple.
You can get a boat to Lundy Island from Bideford. It's a nature reserve.
Local places like The Big Sheep farm park or the Ultimate Adventure Centre are within a 30 minute drive. The bigger beaches, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde, are about twenty to thirty minutes by car. Exmoor National Park is under half an hour away.
