This is Lynch Annexe. It's a studio next to our house. If you're looking for somewhere just for the two of you, with your own front door, this is it.
Inside, it's all one room. The bed's at one end, the kitchenette and a table are at the other. The kitchenette has a fridge and a microwave. There's a separate shower room and toilet. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Outside, there's parking for one car and a small patio with a couple of chairs. You can see a sliver of the sea from there.
You're in Appledore. It's a proper old fishing village on the estuary. Nice to walk around. Plenty of little cafes and pubs. Bideford is two miles away if you need a big supermarket.
The beach at Westward Ho! is about two miles. It's sandy, good for walking and popular with surfers. The better known beaches like Saunton, Woolacombe and Croyde are a 15 to 30 minute drive.
For walking or cycling, the Tarka Trail is on a flat old railway line. The South West Coast Path is here too, if you want proper cliff walks. There's a golf course nearby, the Royal North Devon, which is apparently the oldest in England.
Facilities: Wifi, Smart TV, bedding and towels are included. There's on site parking. The entrance is level and the shower is a walk-in. No pets, sorry.
