Lark Rise

Lark Rise is in Northam, Devon. It's a detached house. You park on the drive, there's space for five cars.

The house sleeps eight people across four bedrooms, so it's a good size. There's two kingsize rooms with their own ensuite bathrooms, a small double room, and a twin room. There's another family bathroom too. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

Downstairs, the kitchen has a breakfast table and a pod coffee machine. The living room has a wood burner. There's a table football game in there as well. Outside, the garden is enclosed. It's on two sides of the house, with lawn and patio. There's a summerhouse and a small stream runs through, so you need to keep an eye on young children.

You're less than two miles from the beach at Westward Ho!. It's a sandy beach, popular with surfers. The Southwest Coast Path runs right through there. For cycling or walking, the Tarka Trail is about three miles away. It's a disused railway line that goes to Barnstaple and Bideford.

Northam itself is a small town. There's a local pub and shops. Bideford is just south, and that's a proper historic port town with a market. If you go north, you've got Exmoor National Park within half an hour. Lundy Island boats go from Bideford if you want a day trip.

In terms of what's here, the list is mostly accurate. Washing machine, towels and bedding included, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed. The garden is enclosed. It says wheelchair accessible entrance, but there are steps inside so best to check if that's important. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
