Britannia Way

Britannia Way is a semi-detached house in Westward Ho!. It's quiet. The village centre with the beach is about a fifteen minute walk away.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, two doubles and a single. There's one family bathroom. The stairs are fine, pretty standard.

The living room and dining room have doors out to the garden. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog, and it gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a lawn and a patio with some furniture.

Westward Ho! beach is the big draw. It's a long, sandy beach. The Pebble Ridge is there, which leads you straight onto Northam Burrows. Good for walking.

The village has what you need: fish and chips, cafes, a few shops, some amusements. There's a decent pub a bit further on, about a mile and a half away. For a bigger shop, Bideford is just across the river.

From Bideford quay you can get the boat over to Lundy Island if that's your thing. Appledore is lovely for a wander. Clovelly is about a twenty minute drive. For a family day out, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way are within half an hour.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking, washing machine, bedding and towels are provided. There's a BBQ. No pets.
