Riverside Mews is in Bideford. It's an end-terrace house right on the river Torridge. The garden looks straight out over the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We had it renovated last year, so everything's fresh and clean. The floors downstairs are new vinyl tiles.
The South-West Coastal Path is literally outside the door. You can turn left and walk along the river into Bideford town centre. It's a level walk, maybe ten minutes. Or you can turn right and go through Victoria Park. The park's got kids' play areas and a dog section.
Bideford itself is nice. Pastel houses along the quay. From there, you can get a boat to Lundy Island. People go for the seals and the birdlife. The Tarka Trail for cycling and walking goes through the town too.
Beach-wise, Westward Ho! is about two miles away. Big sandy beach, good for surfing. The pretty villages like Clovelly, Instow, and Appledore are all within a half hour drive.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
