Myrtle Loft is in Instow, right by the beach. It's above our garage, so it feels private. You get the whole place to yourselves. The garden is shared with us, but it's a big space so you'll have your own bit. There's a small pond with fish.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. The bed is a zip and link, so it can be two singles or a big double. Everything is on one level except for a few steps up to the front door.
The main thing is the view. You can see the estuary from the living room and the bedroom. It's a proper seaside view.
Instow beach is sandy and it's about a two minute walk. The village has a couple of pubs that do food, a chip shop, and a small supermarket. The sailing club is just down the road. You can get the small passenger ferry across to Appledore, which is a nice thing to do.
For walking or cycling, the Tarka Trail is right there on the old railway line. It's flat and goes for miles. If you drive, Westward Ho! is five minutes away. Bideford is about three miles. The day boat to Lundy Island goes from Bideford Quay. Lundy Island ferry info.
Further out, you've got Barnstaple, about fifteen minutes one way, and the surf beaches like Saunton and Croyde about twenty minutes the other. The National Trust Arlington Court is a nice drive inland.
What's here: there's a hot tub on your own patio. It's for your use only. We provide three robes. There's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
No pets, I'm afraid.
