The Lawn Vista Cabin is a detached cabin in a residential part of Barnstaple. It's next to our house, so you might meet our dog when you arrive. He's friendly.
The cabin sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s a simple, open-plan space with a high ceiling. Good for sitting in if the weather turns.
Outside is your own deck with a table, chairs, and loungers. There’s also a shared lawn you can use if you want.
You’re about a mile from Barnstaple town centre. It’s a proper market town. There’s a leisure centre with a pool, the Pannier Market, and a few decent places to eat.
For getting out, you’re well placed. The Tarka Trail cycle path starts in town. You can follow it along the river to places like Instow and Bideford. The north Devon coast is about a twenty-minute drive. Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, that sort of thing. Croyde is good for surfing.
Exmoor National Park is about a thirty-minute drive east. They have the Dark Sky Reserve there, if you're into that.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
