Cobble Cottage is on one of the side streets in Appledore. It's a small, end-of-terrace cottage. It sleeps two.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. There's a wood burner in the main room. The stairs are steep, and they twist a bit at the top, so you need to watch your step.
Appledore itself is good for a wander. The streets are cobbled and it's quiet. There are a few pubs, some shops, and a quay. You can get the passenger ferry across to Instow. That takes about five minutes. Instow has a long sandy beach and a cafe.
If you drive, Westward Ho! beach is about ten minutes away. It's a big, flat beach. The Tarka Trail is nearby for cycling or walking. RHS Garden Rosemoor is about twenty minutes inland. Clovelly is just over half an hour up the coast.
Inside, the main room is all one space downstairs. There's a TV, a dining table, and the kitchen area. Upstairs is the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and a roll-top bath. There's a small outside space at the back for storing bikes or a surfboard.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
