Weach Barton Granary is on our farm, about two miles from Instow. It's a detached building, built up on granary stilts like you sometimes see around here. You're basically staying in the old grain store. The views are good, just fields and sky.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms. The second one is compact. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and does the job but it's not posh. One bathroom with a shower.
The farm is about 200 acres, sheep and beef. You're welcome to walk around the footpaths. It's quiet. Kids like seeing the animals, but we don't accept pets.
Instow's the nearest proper place. It's a two mile drive. Sandy beach, a couple of pubs, places to eat. You can get boat trips from Bideford, which is a bit closer, out to Lundy Island or along the coast.
For getting out, the Tarka Trail is right nearby if you want to cycle. The National Trust has a lot of bits of coastline to look after around here, like Brownsham. Clovelly is about twelve miles away, that's the steep cobbled village. RHS Rosemoor is in that direction too.
What's here: parking right outside. A patio area with a table. There's a washing machine. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bicycle storage is there.
