Apartment 5 is on the first floor of a modern block called Latitude 51 in Westward Ho! It's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps four.
Walk in and the main thing you'll see is the view. The living room is mostly glass doors that open onto a good-sized balcony. You look straight out over the promenade and the beach. It's a proper seaside view.
The place is done to a high standard, it's got the 5 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and everything works. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is right there.
The beach is about a two-minute walk. It's a long, flat beach. Good for walking the dog, though dogs aren't allowed in the apartment itself.
The town itself is what you'd expect. Arcades, cafes, fish and chips. It's got all the usual stuff for a week by the sea. The South West Coast Path runs right through it if you want to do some walking.
If you drive, you can get to Bideford in about ten minutes. Appledore is a nice village just along the river. Further afield, Clovelly is a unique village about half an hour away, and the surf at Croyde and Saunton is about a twenty-five minute drive.
For planning days out, the National Trust Devon site is useful, and the official site for the South West Coast Path has all the walking info.
