Apartment 5 is on the north coast of Devon, right at Westward Ho! It's on the fifth floor of a modern block called Latitude 51. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the sea. You have a balcony with sliding doors off the living room.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, so everything is in good order and it's well-equipped.
The beach is about a two minute walk away. You cross the road and you're on the pebble ridge, then the sand. Westward Ho! itself is a proper Victorian seaside resort, so it's got all the usual things: cafes, amusements, shops selling buckets and spades.
The South West Coast Path goes right through the town. You can walk north towards Clovelly, or south towards Appledore and Instow. Appledore is a nice walk, about two miles along the estuary path. It's an old fishing village with narrow streets.
If you want to drive out, Barnstaple is about 15 minutes away for bigger shops. Bideford is closer. The North Devon coast is good for surfing; Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay are within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities in the apartment: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a parking space in the underground car park. No pets.
