This is Kittiwakes Cottage in Appledore. It's on a corner, just up from the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a four star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's on two floors, so you've got the living room and kitchen downstairs, bedrooms upstairs. The stairs are typical for a cottage like this.
You're right in the middle of the village. The front door opens onto the street. The quay, pubs, cafes, and little shops are all a minute's walk away. There's a river view from the front.
There's no private parking. You park on the street nearby or in the public car park, which is big and rarely full.
For a beach, Westward Ho! is about two miles. It's sand and good for surf. Instow is just across the water, you can get the ferry. It's quieter, with sand dunes. Further on you've got Saunton, Woolacombe, and Croyde, all within half an hour by car.
Bideford is two miles for bigger shops and a market. For walking, the Tarka Trail is on an old railway line, good for bikes too. The coast path is right here, of course.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
