This is 4 Ocean Point. It's a two bedroom apartment in Saunton. You get a view of the sea.
It's a ground floor apartment. Things you should know: there's no step-free access. You have to use stairs to get to it, either from inside the building or from outside. It just is what it is. The stairs aren't awful, but if you have trouble with stairs, this won't suit you.
I think it's comfortable. Underfloor heating. Two bathrooms, which is handy. The main bedroom and the living area have doors out to a small balcony. You can sit there with a coffee in the morning. You look straight out at the sea.
It's a five minute walk down to Saunton Sands. The beach is huge, three miles long. You can walk for hours. The building also has direct access to the beach via a path.
The apartment block has a shared garden area you can use. There's a storage locker for wetsuits and beach gear, and you get one allocated parking space.
In terms of location, you're on the coast path for walking. Braunton Burrows is right there behind the beach, it's a big sand dune system. Braunton village is a short drive away for shops. Barnstaple is about fifteen minutes by car if you need a bigger supermarket or the train station.
You can get to Croyde Bay and its surf spots in five minutes by car. Instow and Westward Ho! are about twenty minutes drive. For a day out, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe are less than half an hour away.
Facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. No pets allowed.
