Mill Cottage is one of the cottages at Trimstone Manor, out near Woolacombe. It's part of a larger set of properties here, so there's a few other guests about. But you get your own building and garden.
It's a three-bedroom place that sleeps six, with two bathrooms. The living area is upstairs. The star rating is fair, it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so watch your step.
You're sharing the grounds with the other cottages, but that's where the good stuff is. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a little gym, a games room, and a tennis court. The gardens are nice, with fields you can use for games or a BBQ. They keep poultry wandering about, so there's chickens, geese, and a few peacocks.
The location is good. You're about three miles from the beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde. The pub's on site, though their restaurant only does breakfast and afternoon teas, not lunch or dinner. They'll give you a list of places to eat locally.
Braunton is close by for shops, and it's the gateway to Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. Ilfracombe is along the coast for harbour trips and Tunnels Beach.
If you want to drive out a bit, you can get to Exmoor National Park, the Tarka Trail for cycling, or the amusement parks like The Big Sheep. Barnstaple has everything you'd need from a town.
As for what's in the cottage, it's all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
