This is Palm Leas. It's a bungalow on the edge of Ilfracombe. You're up on a hill, so you get a good view of the sea from the garden. It's at the end of a quiet private road, so there's no passing traffic.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You can walk down into Ilfracombe in about ten minutes. The shops, pubs, the harbour, and the theatre are all there. The beach is a steep walk down. Damien Hirst's 'Verity' statue is on the pier.
The coast path is right there if you want to go for a walk without driving. There's a pub about 200 yards away. For a bigger beach with sand, you drive to Woolacombe or Croyde. That takes about fifteen minutes.
You can get boat trips to Lundy Island from the harbour. Exmoor is inland, about a fifteen minute drive. Local places like Arlington Court are good for a wet weather day.
For facilities: there's parking right outside. The garden is yours to use, and there's a BBQ. It has WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
