This is Nelson. It's one of five apartments in the building called The Admiral’s House in Ilfracombe. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the harbour and the beach from the main rooms.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The building is right on the harbour edge so you're in the middle of everything. The path outside your door is the start of the South West Coast Path.
You can walk to pretty much everything in Ilfracombe. Shops, pubs, cafes, the Landmark Theatre. It's all a few minutes away. The summer ferry to Lundy Island leaves from the harbour just below you.
For the beach, there's the little sandy one right below the building for paddling. Hele Bay is a short walk. The big surfing beaches, like Woolacombe and Croyde, are about a 20 minute drive.
It's a good base for getting out. Exmoor is about half an hour. Lynton and Lynmouth with their cliff railway are about 25 minutes. There are plenty of National Trust places and gardens to visit.
Inside, it's got the things you need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a shared patio area with harbour views.
