5 Devon Beach Court is an apartment in Woolacombe. It's on The Esplanade, so it's right opposite Barricane Beach and a five minute walk from the main Woolacombe beach.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. One has bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
From the private roof terrace you can see a bit of the sea towards Lundy Island. There's also a shared patio area with good views over the bay, especially at sunset.
The place has Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We leave a cot and highchair there if you need them.
You can park on site. No pets, sorry.
Woolacombe beach is very good. It's long and sandy, good for surfing. The village has shops, cafes and a few pubs, all about ten minutes walk away. Barricane Beach, just across the road, is smaller and known for its cafe that does curries in the evening.
For walking, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here. The path goes right past.
If you drive, Mortehoe and Croyde are nearby. Ilfracombe is about fifteen minutes away. It's a proper seaside town with a harbour, an aquarium, and boat trips. Exmoor National Park is within half an hour. Barnstaple, which has bigger shops, is about twenty minutes by car.
