Capstone Reach
Capstone Reach is in Ilfracombe town centre, on the high street. It's an apartment, third floor. No lift. Just the stairs.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Two of the rooms have a good view across to Capstone Hill and a bit of the sea.
You're about half a mile from the harbour and the main beach. The Landmark Theatre is down there too. The harbour's the proper old bit, has the Verity statue by Damien Hirst. You can get boat trips from there to see seals or go over to Lundy Island.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep. You can head out towards Hillsborough or the Torrs. Inland a bit, there's the Tarka Trail on the old railway line if you fancy a flat bike ride. Exmoor National Park is about 11 miles away for proper moorland.
The facilities are what you'd expect for the rating. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog. There's no private parking, but there are town car parks nearby.
