Paddock Cottage

Paddock Cottage is part of Trimstone Manor, near Woolacombe in Devon. It's a large cottage, sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not fancy.

The cottage is good for a big family or a group of friends. It's surrounded by fields. You get your own patio and garden area.

On the site here, there's a shared indoor heated swimming pool, a small games room, and a little gym area. There are also gardens and fields you can use for a kickabout or a BBQ. We keep some poultry, so you'll see chickens, geese, and peacocks around.

There's a lounge bar on site. The restaurant here serves breakfast and afternoon teas, but not lunch or dinner. We've got a list of good local places for that.

The coast is about three miles away. Woolacombe is the main one, with a big sandy beach and surf schools. Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay are close too. Braunton is three miles off for shops. Ilfracombe has a harbour and more shops, about a 15 minute drive.

Within about half an hour you've got a few things. Exmoor Zoo is near Ilfracombe. Barnstaple has a cinema, theatre, and a market. You can get on the Tarka Trail for cycling. If you want a different beach, try Westward Ho! or the harbour at Appledore.

For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
