Paddock Cottage
Paddock Cottage is one of the cottages at Trimstone Manor, near Braunton in North Devon. It's part of a group of cottages and apartments on a farm.
The cottage sleeps seven in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. Good for a bigger family or a group of friends.
Outside your own cottage, you share the grounds with other guests. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a small gym, a sauna, a tennis court, and a games room. There are chickens, geese, and peacocks wandering about. The fields are good for a kick-about or a barbecue.
There's a lounge bar on site. The restaurant does breakfast and cream teas, but not lunch or dinner. They'll give you a list of local places to eat.
Location wise, you're about three miles from the coast. Woolacombe beach is a short drive away for sand and surfing. Braunton is the nearest place for shops, about three miles. Ilfracombe has a proper harbour and more to do, it's not far.
For a day out, you've got the Braunton Burrows dunes, or the Tarka Trail for cycling. Exmoor National Park is within reach. Barnstaple has a cinema and a market.
Inside, you've got the basics: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
