Berkeley Cottage
Berkeley Cottage is in Ilfracombe. It's at the end of a little mews, so it's quiet. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the high street and all the restaurants on Fore Street. You can park up and leave the car.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, a double and a twin. The stairs are steep, it's an old cottage. Downstairs is the living room with a wood burner, a small kitchen, and a shower room. There's a Smart TV and WiFi.
Outside, there's a front garden with a patio and some chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The main beach is about half a mile away. The harbour is a bit further, maybe ten minutes' walk. There's the Damien Hirst statue there, fish and chips, and some ice cream shops. For walks, you've got the South West Coast Path right there. Hillsborough hill is behind the town for a good view.
If you fancy a boat trip, you can go out from the harbour to see seals or visit Lundy Island. Watermouth Castle is nearby for families.
Further afield, you've got the Tarka Trail for cycling, and Exmoor is about half an hour's drive. The big surfing beaches like Woolacombe and Croyde are a 15-20 minute drive away.
The facilities: bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, and the wood burner is ready to use. You can bring two dogs.
