Mill Apartment

Mill Apartment is a first-floor flat at Trimstone Manor. It sleeps four, but just so you know, it's open plan. One bedroom area, one bathroom, and the living space all together. It’s got a 3 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and clean.

The main thing here is the shared stuff. There's an indoor heated pool on site, which is great if the weather turns. A small gym, a sauna, a games room, and a tennis court. The grounds are big. There are fields for a kickabout or a barbecue, and a formal garden. They keep chickens, geese, even a couple of emus and peacocks.

The location is good. You're about three miles from Woolacombe beach, which is sandy and good for surfing. Braunton is the same distance for shops. It's proper North Devon coast around there, with Saunton and Croyde beaches close by. The North Devon National Landscape area is right there.

Within half an hour you can get to Ilfracombe for the harbour and Tunnels Beach, or to Barnstaple for the market, cinema, and more shops. The Tarka Trail for cycling is nearby. For a day out, Exmoor isn't far, or places like Clovelly and Hartland Quay.

Facilities in the apartment: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. They can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.

One thing to note: there's an on-site lounge bar, and the restaurant does breakfast and cream teas, but it's not open for lunch or dinner. They do have a list of good local places to eat though.
