Honeysuckle Cottage
Honeysuckle Cottage is in the Willingcott Valley, not far from Woolacombe. It's a single-storey place, so no stairs to worry about. Sleeps two.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean, and it's warm. It's not fancy. The living area is open plan. The bathroom has a shower. Bedding is included.
You get your own patio and garden out the back, with a table and chairs and a barbecue. There's parking right next to the cottage.
The valley itself is quiet. You can walk straight out from the door. It's about a ten minute drive down into Woolacombe for the beach. The sand is very good. For surfing, the conditions at Woolacombe are usually reliable.
There's a shared heated swimming pool on site, open in the summer months. A local pub is within walking distance.
If you want to explore further, Ilfracombe is about twenty minutes away. The Tarka Trail for walking and cycling is close by. For golf, the courses at Saunton are a short drive and are very well-regarded. Exmoor National Park is within half an hour.
