Honeysuckle Cottage is an old gardener's cottage in Willingcott Valley, about two miles from Woolacombe beach. It's very quiet out here. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It's a small place, perfect for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, which as they say, means it's clean and proper but not luxurious. The layout is mostly open plan.
The cottage sits on our land, but it's separate. You have your own patio area with a barbecue and there's parking right next to it. The garden is shared, but you're free to use it.
Inside, it's straightforward. There's a TV, a washing machine, and bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's an electric heater for cooler nights.
Woolacombe beach is the main draw. It's a few minutes in the car, maybe a twenty-five minute walk if you don't mind the hill. The sand is excellent. For surfing, you can rent gear in the town.
There's a pub about a ten minute walk away. They do food. For groceries, you'll need to go into Woolacombe or the nearby village of Mortehoe.
If you want to explore, Ilfracombe is about fifteen minutes by car. The Tarka Trail is nearby for walking or cycling. The Saunton Golf Club is a short drive away. Further afield, you've got Exmoor or Arlington Court within half an hour.
