The Penthouse is a top floor flat in a new, detached building from 2021. It's a five minute walk down to Woolacombe beach.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two have TVs, one has an en-suite shower room. There's also a main bathroom with a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The whole place has underfloor heating, which is very effective.
The main living space is open plan. The big bi-folding doors open onto a terrace. The view from there is the main thing: you look right out over the beach and the sea towards Morte Point. You can see a lot of sky. Inside, there's a well-equipped kitchen with two ovens and two fridges. You get two private parking spaces and a locked storage cage for wetsuits and beach gear.
Woolacombe beach is the reason you come. It's a long, sandy beach with good surf. It's a few minutes' walk from the door. The village has shops, cafes and places to eat about ten minutes away on foot. There's a small cinema in one of the hotels.
For wider days out, the Tarka Trail for cycling is nearby. Exmoor National Park is about a half hour drive. For other big beaches, Saunton Sands and Croyde are within twenty minutes by car.
The flat allows up to two dogs. A travel cot and highchair are here if you need them.
