Harbour Hideaway Circa 1750

This is Harbour Hideaway. It's on a quiet street near the harbour in Ilfracombe. The front door opens onto the pavement, but out the back there's a private enclosed garden with a hot tub. The tub has a retractable canopy.

It’s an old fisherman’s cottage. Parts of it date back to 1750. It used to be two cottages, so the layout is a bit different. There’s a separate staircase to each of the three bedrooms, one at each end of the house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

The place sleeps six and has a 5 Star rating. That means it’s well-equipped, with things like a multi-fuel burner, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There’s oak beaming and some stone walls. It’s comfortable, not just fancy.

You're about 50 yards from a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. The harbour and the town centre are a short walk away. The Tunnels Beaches are just around the corner. The beach is about 200 yards.

If you drive, Woolacombe and Croyde for surfing are about twenty minutes away. Exmoor and the South West Coast Path are close for walking. For gardens or a day out, you’ve got the National Trust at Arlington Court and the RHS Garden Rosemoor. Barnstaple is a twenty-minute drive.

Facilities: it has everything listed, like a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
