Brook View
Brook View is an apartment in Combe Martin. It's the lower ground floor of our house, so we're upstairs. You get your own entrance down some steps at the side.
It sleeps four. There's one proper bedroom with a double bed, and a sofa bed in the living room. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern. Everything works.
The garden is yours to use. There's a patio with a table, and a lawn that goes down to a little brook. You can hear the water. Parking is for one car, on the drive at the front.
The beach is about a mile and a half down the hill. Combe Martin beach is good for sunsets. The local pub is half a mile away, and it does food.
Combe Martin has a Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, which is very popular. You might hear the animals sometimes in the evening. The South West Coast Path runs right through here for walking.
Ilfracombe is about four miles away. That's where the harbour is, with boats and the Verity statue. You can get boat trips from there to see seals or go fishing.
Exmoor National Park is about six miles away. For a day out, Lynton and Lynmouth are 13 miles. They've got the cliff railway and good views. The Tarka Trail for cycling is over near Barnstaple, which is a half hour drive.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
