Spring Cottage
Spring Cottage is a bungalow on the edge of Kentisbury village. It's next to our house, so we’re on hand if you need anything, but the garden and patio are private. You get the hot tub to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with ensuite showers. It’s a 4 star rating, so the finishes are good and it’s well looked after. Because it's a bungalow, there are no stairs inside.
The living area is open plan. It feels light and spacious. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
We’re fine with up to two dogs. We have a cot and a highchair if you’re bringing young children.
The coast is about ten minutes drive. Combe Martin beach is good for rock pools. The village has shops and a couple of pubs. For proper surfing, the best beaches are at Croyde and Woolacombe, which are about twenty minutes away.
If you want a day out with children, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is nearby. Exmoor is about fifteen minutes drive. The views from Dunkery Beacon are worth it on a clear day.
