Spring Cottage
Spring Cottage is on the edge of Kentisbury, in Devon. It's single-storey, which is good if you don't want stairs. It's next to our house, out the back.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside. The main room is open plan, so it feels quite light and spacious.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids. We allow up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
Facilities are all there: Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's bike storage in the shed.
In the village, there's a shop about 500 yards away for basics. The nearest proper pub is in Combe Martin, about three miles.
Combe Martin has a beach. It's good for rock pools when the tide's out. For surfing, you want to go to Croyde or Woolacombe. They're about a twenty to thirty minute drive. The coast path is all along there.
If you've got kids, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is nearby. Watermouth Castle is just up the coast. Exmoor is about a fifteen minute drive inland. The views from there are good on a clear day.
