Chapel Cottage is in Kentisbury Ford, a small hamlet near Barnstaple. It's a single-storey bungalow, detached, so you're on your own.
It's a four-star property, meaning it's been done up to a good standard. It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. The garden is an enclosed patio, private and a real sun trap in good weather.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking, Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are supplied. There's a cot if you need one.
The stairs are steep in the other two cottages here, but Chapel Cottage doesn't have any. Everything's on the ground floor.
It's a quiet spot. There's a shop about half a mile away. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half, and there's a restaurant about three quarters of a mile.
You're well-placed for North Devon. The big beaches like Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton are about a twenty to thirty minute drive for surfing. Combe Martin and Ilfracombe are closer, about fifteen to twenty minutes. Barnstaple is ten minutes away for a big supermarket or the pannier market.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is easily accessible. Exmoor starts not far from here. For a day out, the National Trust's Arlington Court is nearby, and the RHS garden at Rosemoor is about twenty minutes away.
